I went to my all day crop at Archivers this past Saturday! I had a blast! The girls I went with were fantastic and hilarious! We had a wonderful time, and actually got some projects started. Notice I didn't say done. Here is a preview of what I am working on currently:
Multiple layer accordion mini books |
Misted papers and inked chipboard to make the book covers |
Embellishments and details added to the inside panels of the book |
These three books I am trying to finish this week because I owe them to friends of ours! One of the girls albums is almost a year overdue! Yikes! I am also participating in "Creative Bootcamp" with other ladies I scrap with in Wisconsin when I go to visit my family. Bootcamp lasts 4 weeks and each week you receive a challenge to work on in order to complete an album or mini-book. It's self-paced overall, though, and in the end there is a chance to win prizes for the hours participated and the projects completed! It is nice incentive to complete those albums and books that I have put off this past year during all the craziness! Unfortunately, though, bootcamp is going on during the month I need to be focusing on packing and cleaning our apartment to get ready to move in 6 weeks! That's okay! I'll balance the crazy with some creativity!
I hope this finds the rest of you staying warm and enjoying your MLK day! Until next time:
Here's to life, love, and creativity!
