Creative Challenge Kick-off

   Yesterday, CTMH posted on their blog a fun, exciting, and new series that they are starting for 2015! I'm super excited to share this with you all because each week, CTMH will be posting Creative Challenges for everyone to participate in! Here's how it'll work:

1. Tune in to CTMH's Facebook and Instagram pages each Monday to learn what Jeanette’s Creative Challenge will be. Follow Close To My Heart on Facebook and Instagram so you can get the details pronto! When they announce the challenge, you’ll see a sample project as your inspiration and it will then be up to you to create and share your own creations.

2. You have until the following Friday to post a photo of your own interpretation of the challenge to either CTMH's Facebook page or your own Instagram feed. Be sure to use the hashtag #jrlcreativechallenge when you post. You can search this hashtag at any time to see what others have posted!

3. What’s in it for you? This series is designed to inspire creative time and provide a place for unity and idea sharing each week. The challenge will give you a reason to get into your supplies on a regular basis for the sole purpose of having fun through crafting!

4. Oh, and did I mention there will be prizes? CTMH will choose one random winner each week to receive a prize for participating. They'll announce the previous week’s winners every Monday on Facebook and Instagram, just before the new challenge announcement.

5. Spread the word about this opportunity to anyone and everyone you know who loves creating, winning prizes, and a good challenge! The more people that get involved, the more fun it will be.

Trying to Get Caught Up!!!

   Hello from Vegas! I am so sorry that I have not had a blog update in a long time! I have been out of town a lot these last two months and have not been home long enough to play catch up! April won't be too different either! So I apologize in advance on being behind on my projects, pictures, and updates! I am going to try my very hardest to get caught up as soon as I'm back!

CTMH and Big Picture Classes is teaming up once again to bring you this FREE, online, one-night event on Thursday, March 27th from 8-9:30pm CST! That's THIS Thursday, so make sure and mark your calendars!

You will want to register ahead of time, though, (it's FREE to create an account!!!) so you can log-in during the class to "interact" in the message boards, download handouts/instruction guides, post to the galleries, and enter the FREE contests! Also, note that if for any reason you cannot be in front of your computer during the "class" time, you can always find full videos and downloadable content in your profile archives anytime after the webinar has ended!

Pajama Party Tonight!

Close to My Heart Updates

   Happy Wednesday, everyone! I have been busy this week preparing for the Product Party on Sunday, September 15th! I cannot wait to share these awesome projects and ideas with you all! It should be a ton of fun! I still have seats available if you want to stop in! This is FREE event, so definitely come on in and learn about some awesome products!

   I also updated the blog tabs to keep information more accessible. The "Events Calendars" tab now contains all the upcoming event information, times, costs (if any), and descriptions. The "Sneaks Peeks" tab is exactly what it means: previews of projects, upcoming deals, specials, CTMH promotions, projects, etc. Consider it creative eye candy! I will also be updating or adding another tab to feature CTMH videos and tutorials! So look for that coming very soon!

   There have been some exciting things going on this week online as well! Big Picture Classes just released the date of their upcoming "Pajama Party". "Pajama Party" is a free online event that you can participate in to make their featured project, win great prizes, learn about upcoming classes at Big Pictures Classes, and to get creative inspiration from all the talented ladies over at Big Picture Classes! In the past, Close to My Heart as been the main sponsor for "Pajama Party". This month the sponsor is Studio Calico, but it's still worth mentioning and registering for! It's coming up in a couple weeks, and they announced it will be a longer event this month (90 minutes instead of 60 minutes!!!). They are a lot of fun, and what's to lose?
